The infamous Monster Biscuit is one of the most extreme fast food breakfast items in the world. It has it all, and we mean it. Ham? Check. Sausage? Check. Bacon? Check. Oh, and it even has a folded egg and cheese. It’s a nice light breakfast item, isn’t it?

The Monster Biscuit is at least three heavy breakfasts packed into one, and Hardee’s seems to be proud of that. It’s far too heavy to be eaten in the morning, but that seems to be the point. If you want an extreme breakfast, Monster Biscuit seems to be the food to go. Just don’t complain about it later.

Double Down Chicken Sandwich

The Double Down is a chicken sandwich in the true sense of the word. It has chicken fillets instead of buns. Why waste time on buns when you can have bacon and cheese between two chicken fillets?

If the plain sandwich is not enough for you, have fun tasting some of the new Double Down variants: Hawaiian (with pineapple, of course), Ham Steak Hash (with ham steak and hash browns), or KFC Korea’s Fire Double Down Maxx (with spicy chicken fillets).

The weirdest thing is that the Double Down original has only 540 calories. This just goes to show that the number of calories is not the only way to determine if a food item is healthy or not.

Meat Monster

This burger is appropriately named. It has lots of meat and yes, it’s a monster. It has it all: two hamburgers, a chicken breast fillet, three slices of bacon, and two slices of cheese.

This calorie-packed delight was offered in Japan only, adding to the list of bizarre fast food items available in Japan.

One of the most charming things about the Meat Monster is that it includes everything you need to clog your arteries. And to top that, customers were offered the option to add even more layers to personalize their Meat Monster.

Crown Crust Carnival

Crown Crust Carnival is the most extreme of the bizarre Pizza Hut offerings around the world. It goes one step further than the infamous hot dog stuffed crust pizza offered by Pizza Hut in the United Kingdom. The Crown Crust Carnival pizza has cheeseburger crust – yes, those are all mini cheeseburgers –along with the toppings that have extra meat.

This abomination is offered by Pizza Hut Middle East, which is known for adventurous pizza offerings such as the pizza with meatballs and cream cheese.

Meat’normous Omelet Sandwich

The Meat’normous Omelet Sandwich was yet another heavy breakfast offering from Burger King. It was made for those who really, really like meat, and lots of it. The Meat’normous Omelet Sandwich was a more extreme version of Burger King’s popular Enormous Omelet Sandwich, but with more meat. This was quite an achievement because the Enormous Omelet Sandwich already had tons of meat.

The Enormous Omelet Sandwich already had sausage patties, bacon, eggs, and cheese. The Meat’normous Omelet Sandwich added ham to the mix, just for the fun of it. It’s also known for that unintentionally funny lumberjack commercial, but that’s beside the point.

Black Ninja Burger

Black burgers are a hit in Japan. The first of these bizarre offerings was the Premium Kuro Burger that was introduced in 2012. It premiered the infamous black bun that was colored using bamboo charcoal. It also contained black ketchup with the addition of squid ink to make it dark. It was tasty and bizarre.

The Kuro Ninja Burger goes one step further. It has the same dark bun and black cheese, but with the addition of a weird-looking bacon tongue. There’s no other way to describe it; the huge bacon slice looks like a tongue and gives this bizarre burger a humorous touch.

Apparently, Burger King Japan is planning to introduce a red burger this summer. That’s right: a burger with red buns and red cheese. Fast food has never been this much fun.

The ‘merica Burger

Slater’s 50/50 is a company known for its outrageous burgers. The 50/50 in their name stands for their signature 50/50 burger made from 50% ground beef and 50% ground bacon. Is this too much bacon? It’s apparently not, because they decided to create a 100% ground bacon burger.

Enter the ‘merica Burger. This limited-offer delight was especially made to celebrate the American Independence Day. It was offered as the Burger of the Month in July 2012 and became an instant hit And is brought back every July.

What makes the ‘merica Burger so special? Well, it’s all bacon. It has a 100% ground bacon patty, a thick cut bacon slice, bacon island dressing and bacon American cheese, all inside a bacon pretzel bun. The only non-bacon ingredient is a fried egg, which may not contribute to the bacon content but sure increases the calorie count of this culinary monstrosity.

Foie Gras Burger

This greasy burger was offered by Wendy’s Japan, probably as an attempt to appeal to the local market’s fondness for weird fast food. This burger is a luxury item because it costs $16 and contains an unusual ingredient: foie gras. That’s fat liver in French. So yes, this is a burger made from goose-liver pate.

Foie gras is illegal in many parts of the world if it’s produced by force-feeding birds to make their livers become bloated. This fact eventually made Wendy’s Japan to retire the burger, but it remains one of the weirdest fast food offerings in the company’s history.

Windows 7 Whopper

The Windows 7 Whopper is another Burger King Japan offering, but this time, a very special one. This burger was released in October 2007 as part of a promotional campaign for Windows 7. It’s now regarded as one of the worst ever marketing campaigns for Windows, which speaks volumes about this burger.

What made this Whopper so special? Seven stacked beef patties. Yes, seven. While designed as a marketing gimmick, this burger proved to be surprisingly popular and was kept on the menu beyond the planned seven days. Apparently, people can’t get enough beef patties.

T-Rex Burger

If you think seven beef patties is too much? How about nine? That’s right; the T-Rex Burger made by Wendy’s in Brandon, Canada featured an amazing nine beef patties. Best of all, it started as a joke ad in Sports Illustrated. It wasn’t meant to be real.

But customers started requesting the T-Rex Burger, and because the customer is always right, the T-Rex Burger with nine beef patties was born.

Unfortunately, the fun was short-lived after one wiseass posted an image of the T-Rex Burger on Reddit and prompted a national outcry that resulted in the T-Rex being taken off menu. However, there’s a glimmer of hope because customers at Wendy’s are invited to request additional patties for their burgers if they want. If you really want to try a T-Rex, go ahead and order those extra patties.
